Review:This book got such high reviews  and the blurb sounded amazing so I was  very  excited for it but once I started it I could barely bring myself to finish it. In my opinion the characters were one-dimensional, the dialogue sounded fake and flat and I couldn't get myself into the story. I would find my self reading the same sentence over and over. I think my main issue was with Brielle, she read like a spoiled child to me and every time she would talk instead of focusing on the story in my head I was ranting about how much she irritated me. Though Jace was okay, the relationship moved waaayyy to quick for my liking. However, that is my personal opinion and I love my soul-mate books and I hold high standards when it comes to them and this review should not detain you from reading the book if you're interested.

Review: I was counting down the days until this book came and when I got an ARC ( Thanks for that by the way) I actually did a little happy dance around my house before jumping into this book. The book did not leave my hands until I read the very last page.

    While Grasping at Eternity was an amazing, fantastic, scream your head off good novel, in my opinion it doesn't hold a candle to Taking Back Forever. There was so much more action in this book, so much romance that makes your toes curl and things get revealed that will make your jaw drop. We have Harmony narrating one perspective while looking for her soul mate and Maryah narrates her own perspective as she tries to gain her memories back. This was just perfect.

   Maryah, so you know how in the last book literally every single person who read this book just wanted to give the girl a good shake? Yeah, that is so not the Maryah in this book. She really steps it up, embraced her kindrily and works towards getting her memories back. She becomes an amazing heroine, not a confused girl. I  was so proud of her I wanted to give her a hug.

  Nathaniel...ASDFGHJKL... yep I had to use that because I can't think of a word that can describe how he makes me feel. He was perfectly perfect as always. He was such a gentleman ( although he does get a little mischievous with his words towards Maryah here, not that I'm complaining ;) Also his love for Maryah was so pure and deep. Honestly, I could probably rant on and on and on about Nathaniel but here is what you really need to know. He is the best boyfriend ever and if I didn't like Maryah so much the girl would have some competition.

    The ending. You get a choice people!!!! Heaven bless Karen Hooper. If I didn't have a choice to read the ending or wait until Fighting for Infinity I might have just lost it. So I chose to not read it, but you guys can do whatever floats your boats, just keep any information away from me.

   Overall, this book was amazing. The soul-mate aspect was carried out perfectly and why are you still reading my review? Go shoo buy this novel right now.

      Okay so I fell in love with this series a few months ago and I am really sad to see it come to an end, but I don't think there could have been a better way to tie up the series.This finale was filled with loss, intense action, betrayal, forgiveness, love, friendship and family bonds. It was definitely the edge of your seat read that had me flipping pages at lightning speed... well I wasn't actually flipping them but still.

     This book definitely takes a different approach to fantasy and it's really different from your typical fantasy novels, which is my main reason for liking this book so much. Riya's world is magical and Kelly Walker does an amazing job describing it.And I mentioned this for the previous books but I'll say it again... few authors can pull off the whole third point person of view without making it awkward for the reader. Luckily Kelly Walker is one of the few. 

    While I liked Riya in the previous books, I LOVED her her. She became so much more reasonable, selfless, mature and intelligent. She forgave the people who deserved it and she became a better person. She made such hard choices but she was never really selfish making them. Riya came a long way since the first book.

    Torian oh Torian, he was perfect as always. He was still the gentleman but there was playfulness to him as well as the whole alpha vibe. Just like Riya he developed a lot as a character and he was in every way her match. They are perfect for each other.

    The plot as I said before is involved and intense and every moment of it is amazing.

     Who doesn't have a spot for fairy tales? I mean come on it's every girls dream.
 This book took your traditional fairy tale heroine gave her an attitude that makes most men run, made her completely badass and gave her a smokin' hot awesome prince who had a very dirty mouth and BOOM!!! You have...

Okay so on a more serious note you have a very entertaining and amusing read. Sam was just the perfect heroine. You connected with her. She was just a girl going to college trying to mak something for herself and dealing with her dad's cancer. She was sweet, but at the same time, she had an attitude and she was not a Mary Sue. She didn't let anyone walk over her or her friends. It was amazing. This girl was great.

   Alex... he's a prince c'mon that scores points, he's insanely hot =more points, he has manners= even more points and he cares for the environment = Million billion gazillion points!!! This guy was literally perfect. I just wanted to attack him, every time he speaks it's like 

   The plot was believable and easy to follow but the dialogue and characters make this novel.

Why I am still talking? Move your tushes and get this right now it's the ultimate pick me up.

Okay, so let's face it after that killer cliffhanger at the end of the first book we were all cursing the author of this baby to write faster. Good thing we didn't have to wait to long and the follow up surely doesn't disappoint if anything I found it much more enjoyable than the first book.

       The beginning was a little slow and I though I was going to have to smack Dani around a little for going on about how her life has no purpose without Cayden,  to her defense Cayden is pretty amazing so I wold miss him too, but she cleared up her act before I even got a really strong urge to want to strangle her. I have to say this girl matured. She made her own sacrifices, choices and dealt with her own consequences. It was amazing to see that transformation from the first book, where she wasn't the most rational character. Dani really surprised me here  and I liked it. She really stepped it up and became a heroine we can admire.

     Cayden a.k.a the sweetest guy on the planet... was great as usual, well okay he was great for the mast part there were times where I wanted to kick him ( just a little) for making Dani upset but luckily his brother set him straight. Other than that Cayden was absolutely lovable and swoon worthy and just perfect. Like seriously where can I get my own Cayden?

     The plot picked up A LOT. While in the first book romance was our major focus and there really wasn't too much going on, this book was filled with action and twists and turns. It was great!!!! I never knew what to expect. The bad guys were actually bad and scary and there was also minor drama within the supporting characters and the plot was just very expertly developed.

    So overall this book is much more developed than the first and I really enjoyed it. OH! Also before I forget this book probably has the coolest take on vampires. ( Yep it's even cooler that Edwards disco ball skin :)

         This book was a roller coaster ride and I had no idea where it was going most of the time. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time breezing through the book, hoping to get more answers because  I had no idea what to expect. And the romance? I'm a pro when it comes to seeing how relationships will works out, and yet I had no idea what was going to happen here. None. Nada.

     Serena lives in a world where women are nothing. They are treated like property, abused, and used only for their blood. All Serena learned from her father is to stay quite and to what you're told and you'll avoid getting beaten and hexed. Too bad she can't always keep her mouth shut. She hopes to escape her father, which doesn't happen when some stuck up rich person buys her and makes it crystal clear she's about as important as the dirt under his fingernail.However, things get  strange when a barbarian gains her ownership. And things really start to change for Serena.

    Serena, okay not going to lie I didn't like Serena in the first few pages. But the more I learned about her the more I started to respect her and eventually I realized this girl is AMAZING!!! She knew the consequences of speaking out and yet she always fought for what she wanted. That was amazing. Her development as a character was flawless and there was a perfect transition of opinions and ideas. Serena matured a lot and I really liked that about her. She was great for her sisters and she was a great heroine overall.

    Zade...Oh Zade.... I didn't know what to expect with him, he was a mystery for most of the book. But do I love a good mystery. He was great. And that's all I'm saying. That's right people suffer, I suffered while trying to figure this out.

    The romance was sweet and simple, a little too tame for my taste, but I can't really judge. Since romance isn't the focus I guess it's good that it's just the background of the book.

    The whole concept of this book is different and amazing.
