Blurb from Goodreads: Can he make her fall in love with him… again?

When Pagan Moore proved worthy of Death’s devotion, he was given the gift of getting to keep her.

But Dank was never promised that Pagan would keep him.

When a soul is created, so is its mate. In every lifetime those souls find each other. They complete the other’s destiny. It’s time for Pagan’s soul to choose if she truly wants an eternity at Death’s side or if she wants the mate created just for her.

Dank didn’t think he had to worry about her choice. He knew where her heart belonged. Until he realized that every kiss, every touch, every moment of their time together would be washed from her memories. He would have to win her heart all over again and prove to her soul that he was where she belonged.

If only her soul’s mate wasn’t right there standing in his way.

Review: My reaction after reading the blurb was something resembling shock, desperation, hatred, anger, unadulterated rage, fury, and yeah some other emotions I don't have a name for. Like really I love Pagan and Dank so much so seeing Dank suffer almost made me flip. Also I hate love triangles. That's like my biggest pet peeve. I mean seriously the chick should just decide who she wants and not torture the males. Its not fair towards them. However, the love triangle her was one I approve. Since Pagan didn't remember Dank it made sense for her to have feeling for someone else. Also beyond that it wasn't even a love triangle. When Pagan was with Dank she was only interested in Dank. There was no going and hooking up with some other guys and trying to decide who she wants to be with. She was with Dank and that was that. Then something would happen she would fight with Dank and then she would become friends with Jay. Notice I don't say date. They didn't date it was like they were friends but they weren't a good couple. They were boring in every way and Pagan knew that which is why she didn't push a relationship.
Okay so I actually really liked Pagan in this book. She was determined and she knew what she wanted and she really went for it. She wasn't weak and she was actually kind of fun. Gee was hilarious I loved that girl. She was the source of comic relief and it was great.
Dank was Dank. Amazing in every way. I felt really bad when he was trying to win Pagan back because you could feel how much he needed her and how deeply he was in love with her. She was his everything and without her he would feel nothing and be nothing. When they were together it was great. Like I said before they were a great couple.
The ending was just heart warming and it gave me like that warm fuzzy feeling and put a really big. goofy smile on my face. What can I say? I'm a total sucker for a happily ever after.

  I give this epic finale

Blurb from Goodreads:You would think after helping save her boyfriend from an eternity in Hell that things would go back to normal. Well, as normal as life can be when you can see souls and your boyfriend is Death. But for Pagan Moore, things are just getting weirder.

The high school quarterback and reigning heartthrob, Leif Montgomery, is missing. While the town is in a frenzy of worry, Pagan is a nervous wreck for other reasons. Apparently good ‘ol Leif isn’t your average teenage boy. He isn’t even human. According to Death, Leif doesn’t have a soul. The quarterback may have skipped town but he’s still showing up in Pagan’s dreams... uninvited.

Dank has known from the beginning Leif wasn’t human. But he hadn’t worried about a simple soulless creature. Now, he realizes he made a grave mistake. Pagan’s soul has been marked since birth as a restitution, to a spirit so dark not even Death walks near it. Dank knows saving Pagan’s soul won’t be easy but Pagan is his. And he’s already proven he’ll defy Heaven to keep her. If Hell wants a piece of him too, then bring it on.

Review: I'll make this review short ans sweet. I totally loved this book and why did I love this book you ask? Dank. Like that's it. He is the most amazing guy ever. He is so sweet caring and protective and well he made the book for me. Like honestly I could go on and on and on with how great he is and how much I love him but I think I can make my point just by saying that Dank hot as in hell wishes it could be this hot kind of hot.
Pagan overall was a great character and I loved how she would rather suffer then have her friends suffer because of her. She's a selfless heroine and I loved that about her. Her chemistry with Dank was great, but I mean really if your boyfriend is a deity of death who happens to be so hot he sets off smoke alarms by walking into a room  you better have great chemistry.
Leif annoyed me. Like why doesn't he take his voodoo prince ass back to his native world whatever he calls it and just leave Pagan alone. He claims he loves her but really if he loves her why would he make her suffer and do something she doesn't want to do. That't not love but I was happy with the decision he made in then end.
Why am I still talking ? Go buy this book and experience Dank's hotness for yourself.

I give this book
By the way I hope you liked my hotness puns ;)

The Dark Light by Sara Walsh

Title: The Dark Light
Author: Sara Walsh
August 28th, 2012 by Simon Pulse
Number of Pages: 496

Blurb from Goodreads:Mia is torn between two guys—and two worlds—in this epic, romantic fantasy.

Mysterious lights have flickered above Crownsville for as long as Mia can remember. And as far as she’s concerned, that’s about the only interesting thing to happen in her small town.

That is, until Sol arrives. Mia’s not one to fall for just any guy, but she can’t get Sol—or the brilliant tattoo on his back—out of her mind.

Then Mia’s brother goes missing, and Mia’s convinced that Sol knows more than he’s sharing. But getting closer to Sol means reevaluating everything Mia once believed to be true. Because Sol’s not who Mia thought he was—and neither is she.

Review: So this book was definitely entertaining but I was totally mislead  by the cover and blurb and ended up reading a type book I usually don't read.  So I mean let's face it from the cover and blurb how many of you jumped to the conclusion that this was a paranormal romance where the male lead has some sort of secret is insanely attracted to our plain yet very desired and in some way shape or form special heroine. They the have to fight to be together or something is tearing them apart or something on that level. don't get me wrong I love those books but this is not that type of book. It's a sci-fi adventure with probably like what three kisses throughout the entire 500 pages? Also THERE IS NO LOVE TRIANGLE past chapter five. Like seriously the reason it took me so long to read this book is because i was like ugh love triangle. But no there isn't even one. Now that aside I was a little out of my league reading this book but it was still pretty great.
Mia was a great heroine even though she really wasn't all that bright. She kept jumping into battles when she barely knew how to hold a sword. I mean sure you can argue its brave but let's face it its pretty stupid. She did have redeeming qualities. She was loyal and she never gave up and she fought for those she loved. She was also pretty forgiving even if it took her a while.
Sol.. well he was pretty hot but I couldn't really say he was swoon worthy but let me tell you he is a great warrior. And well yeah no insta-love either pretty slow building relationship.
There was definitely plot and action in this book a bit too much action for my taste but then again I blame the blurb.

Blurb from Goodreads: When good-girl Maddie switches places with her famous bad-girl twin Jackie, she has some pretty high stilettos to fill.

Despite the danger of tabloid drama if their identity swap is discovered, Maddie has to save her sister's butt. When Jackie’s ex-boyfriend shows up with a rekindled spark for “Jackie,” his deep gray eyes and sweet kisses make Maddie's heart thumpety thump. But dating the guy who dumped her sister is a no-no. Too bad Dallas isn’t used to girls saying no. What will happen when he discovers Maddie’s deception?

Review: This was a really cute, sweet, short read so I'm going to make my review the same. Maddie is such a sweet character stepping in for her sister who needs a break from Hollywood life. While in Hollywood she meets her long time crush also her sisters ex-boyfriend Dallas who seems really into her... well into her sister... okay so she is her sister so into her? Ugh it's complicated. Dallas is such an amazing love interest. I mean let's face the obvious he's hot and well famous..duh but besides that he's sweet and caring. This was such a light read to pass time. Everyone should check it out.

Saving Grace (Mad World 2) by Christine Zolendz

Blurb from Goodreads: After spending over 2,000 years being a lost soul looking for the angel I was forbidden to fall in love with, I finally found him. Lucky for me he has taken up residence inside the hot body of NYC’s local bad boy, tattooed rock star, Shane Maxton. Turns out, not only is he absolutely perfect, so is the whole Grace Taylor life that I’m stuck in. The only problem is Gabriel. An archangel who wants me all to himself so he kind of kidnaps me. Now I have to find my way back and hope everything works out…

Review: **SPOILERS FROM BOOK ONE** I have to say this book is soo much better than the first book and the first book was good so this book was amazing. Also it has a happily ever after ending so that just made my heart bloom.
It starts off tight where the last book left off, with Grace trying to escape from Gabriel ( she is in a  purgatory of sorts while her body is in a coma) she  is  carrying the realization that Shane is her angel and even more, she now knows that he tried to forget her. She gets captured by Gabriel and is saved by Shane as her angel who tells her that this is the last life. After which he walks away from her. Hurt and upset by the fact that the love of her 2,000 year life just left her Grace decided to live her life. The only problem is that Shane, the man whose body used to host  her angel also the only man she had feelings for besides her angel isn't letting her get over  him that easily.
Okay so lets  see this book was better and hotter and so much more tension filled than the first. I totally loved it. I have to admit I liked Grace a lot more in this one. She was willing to live her life and she is just a  more awesome  version of herself.
Now let's move on to the reason I read this book and you are most likely considering reading this book because of Shane. I mean lets face he is the reason I love this book. Okay so he was a bit of a jerk here, but it was because he was being jealous and he really cared for Grace so his moments of douchebagginess are acceptable. When they finally get together though they are such a cute couple.
Gabriel just annoyed me and I wanted ti whack him throughout the entire book. Yeah thats all I say about him.
In short read this book it was great. And it ends in happily ever after so come on how can you not read it?

Demons of the Sun by Cindi Madsen

Title: Demons of the Sun
Author: Cindi Madsen
Published:September 4, 2012 Crescent Moon Press

Blurb from Goodreads: Persephone didn’t ask to be the guardian of Hades Dagger, an artifact Hades forged to turn demons into daywalkers. She didn’t ask for the demon blood running through her veins that allows her to touch the thing, either. And she definitely didn’t ask for Jax, a cocky Warrior, to barge into her life and proclaim himself her bodyguard now that Hades wants his dagger back.

Forced to deal with this reality, along with an increase in demon attacks, and the fact members of the Order of Zeus keep turning up dead, Persephone finds her hands full.

When demons tell Persephone that she’s one of them she’s appalled... And a little intoxicated by the power she feels when they call her their queen. Telling Jax about her demon side might turn him away from her forever...

Something bad is brewing, and if Persephone doesn’t figure out a solution, and soon she’ll be responsible for unleashing Hell on Earth.

Review:  So let's see if you love Greek mythology, amazing heroines, some hot kisses oh and daggers that may just lead to the end of the world, then this book is for you.
Let's start with the main heroine. Persephone is one kick-ass heroine. I mean she was just amazing. She lost her family because of the dagger and now it's her duty to protect it. The fate of the entire world quite literally lies with her. She loses the dagger and demons come out and kill of the entire human race. So no pressure right? She was able to handle everything quite well. She knew what her duty was and she did her best to perform it. She was brave and totally loyal to her friends. She was willing to do anything to make sure they don't get hurt. She was stubborn but it suited her well and I mean she also had a killer sense of humor so she id definitely great.
Jax, oh man where can I get one of those. I mean he just broke into her house and said that she needs her protection and he's going to live with her now. Isn't he just soooo dreamy?Yeah, yeah I know it sounds creepy but he makes it work so don't judge just go and read. He was a great warrior and was so protective of Persephone. In short he was a totally swoon worthy character.
Now for the part that annoyed me a bit. The love triangle, only she never meets the second guy but she is convinced she loves him because she always meets him in her dreams. Now let me just say he was creepy actually I think creepy doesn't cover he was just a terrible character. Also I knew right away who he was it was obvious the things he was saying plus the events happening where just screaming what was going to happen. Our character didn't figure it out though, which I understand love makes you blind sometimes.
The plot was good except the part that I mentioned above. This is definitely a book to read if you like a good paranormal romance.
   I give this book

Fall From Grace ( Mad World 1) by Christine Zolendz

Title: Fall From Grace (Mad World 1)
Author: Christine Zolendz

Number of Pages: 232

Blurb from Goodreads: I'm finally home after struggling through my brother's illness and death. But, home is definitely a bit different. My best friend (the only person alive now that knows my secret) has a new boyfriend; and he has a friend. Shane Maxton: bad boy, tattooed rock god, eye candy extraordinaire. He is also New York City's most arrogant, self-serving, son of a, well, a definite one-night stand kind of a guy.
But, it doesn't matter to me because I've spent my existence looking for the love of my life, my angel. And, there is nothing that Shane Maxton can do to change that.
A paranormal romance.

Review: I have a love hate relationship with this book. Its just..ugh its soo good but then like there were certain parts where was just son angry. Anyway here is my reasoning.
Okay so basically this is the story of Grace, an ancient soul who has existed since angels fell. She was one of the women the angels fell in love with and her punishment was that she must wander the Earth from one body to another in search of her angel. She is forever, denied access to heaven. Enter Shane Maxton. He's hot, arrogant, plays every instrument know to man oh and he's a total manwhore. So, obviously he become attracted to Grace, who I admit is pretty cool, but still he falls for her and decided to give up his whorish ways and become a better man for her. Except Grace wants nothing to do with him, she wants her Angel and she will find him... that is if she lives long enough to do it.
Okay so Grace was a cool character even though she was a bit annoying. I mean I understand she was looking for her soulmate/angel but really give the poor guy a chance you never know where life will lead. She was just so stubborn I wanted to slap her sometimes. I mean it was so obvious who was who yet she refused to acknowledge it. Okay besides my mini-rant she was a really cool character. She didn't let anyone push her around and was very protective of her friends.
Shane, okay so I'll just admit it this guy made the book. His flirty banter was to die for and though he was a bit of a jerk sometimes I'll admit that he has a reason. I mean if you lost someone you really really loved you would stop believing in love too especially if its been.. Oh I don't  about two thousand years?!?
The plot was pretty good. Especially for the part with her angel I mean that was so obvious, I think most people figure it just by reading the blurb. There were definitely some elements that shocked me. However, this is the book you read for the leading man.

I give Shane Maxton... oh I mean this book

Cornerstone (The Cornerstone Series 1) by Misty Provencher

Title: Cornerstone (The Cornerstone Series 1)
Author: Misty Provencher
Published: November 7,2011
Number of Pages: 219

Blurb from Goodreads: Nalena Maxwell has been branded ‘The Waste’ at her new school, due to her mom's obsessive paper hoarding. Nalena desperately wants something to change in her life, but when she receives a sign (and it's the wrong dang one) inviting her into a mysterious, ancient community, too much changes. What she knew of her family, what she thought of her life and what she believed about her future, is no longer applicable. Seventeen years worth of family skeletons come crashing into Nalena's life and it is the boy...the one that smiles at her like he wants to hear everything she'll ever say...that already knows her powerful secrets. But it is only Nalena that can choose between protecting the life that is already crumbling beneath her feet and the one that might sacrifice everything she could ever have.

Review:  This book is definitely different from everything else out there. The idea behind Nalena's world is so different that it took me a while to start to understand the world and really get into the story, which definitely isn't a bad thing. This book is a much needed and amazing breath of fresh air.
Nalena is a great character. I loved her relationship with her mom. Nalena's classmates believe her mom is a hoarder which  leads her to be nicknamed "The Waste." She is constantly mocked and bullied and made fun of. However, she never takes it out on her mom she is never even angry with her mom. Actually she never even mentions how her mom's behavior affects her. She loves her mom and does everything in her power to make her mom happy. It was really sweet how their relationship develops and how Nalena's decisions are directly related to her mom's well being. It was great to see a heroine so concerned about her mom. Besides that, Nalena is extremely loyal to those close to her. Even though at times she was a bit too obedient and jumped to quick conclusions, especially when it came to Garrett but I'll about that later.  I wouldn't say Nalena is total indenpendent, kick butt character but she is still pretty cool and great.
Okay so now let's talk about the leading man, shall we? Garrett is the perfect gentleman and he is also pretty perfect. I mean he's hot, athletic, smart, nice...oh and he's a Classic, which basically means he likes those really expensive traditional cars from like the 60's. When he meets Nalena she can't believe he would even be interested. He's totally amazing and she's the waste, but then he saves her life and begins to show interest in her. However, their relationship takes a while to turn romantic. They become friends first and then things just fall into place. It was great to see a couple that doesn't become a couple in the five minutes after they met. When they get together though, it sooo  amazing. They are such a cute couple and Garrett is so protective and sweet that you just can't help but fall in love with him.
The plot is definitely a roller-coaster ride once you  get into it. There where so many things I didn't see coming and well there were some that I was able to guess right away. So in short check out this book if you like a paranormal story with some romance and a good plot.

    I give this book
