Review: This was such a sweet book and I would like to thank the author DeAnna Kinney for providing me with an ARC of Loving Lily Lavender for review.

         This is the type of book that makes  you believe in the all consuming, powerful, gives you wings kind of love.  A love that will plaster a giant smile on your face and make you cheer for the characters. I loved Lily. She is such an inspiring heroine and it was great reading from her perspective and seeing how she works through problems and how is able to rely on her faith in though situations. She wasn't a whiny type of a girl who refuses to see the truth right in front of her and keeps on denying the plain truth. I loved the fact that Lily just accepted problems as she faced them. Which let me just tell you there were a lot of. I felt so bad for her she had to face so many things but she never doubted herself and never lost faith in Lucas and their love it was really great.
       Lucas was a great male hero and I loved the fact that he wasn't made out to be perfect. He had his flaws and in the beginning of the novel he had a lot of them. However, I was able to love him as a character because I watched him work through those problems and become a truly become a man worthy of our amazing Lily. She was his everything and I loved how nothing mattered to him but her not even his own life was more important than Lily. 
       Now for the  best part of the book,the love story.  The love these two characters shared was so pure and loyal and just amazing. They faced so many challenges and obstacles and hard times but their love got them through it all. I mean this is the kind of love people dream about, poets write sonnets for, and well it's the kind of love that keeps people from losing faith in humanity and encourages people to believe that true love still exists and it's still powerful and still wonderful.
      I have to say however, that this book has some strong Christian faith elements which would make sense as Lily is a devoted Christian so those readers that tend to dislike characters praying  or relying on God might find some issues with this book. To be fair though, its not one of those crazy Christian books where the main character is convinced that everything and everyone is a spawn of Satan. The main character is Christian but she never attempts to get anyone else to turn Christian and she doesn't judge anyone for not being Christian. It was great how loving and accepting she was.

  Overall I give this romance read

Review:  This is definitely a great fantasy book. I loved everything about it. Kiora is a great heroine who really struggles with the role she was forced to take on.Emane is an arrogant prince that I really want to meet. So let me actually start the review.
    I loved how this book focused on the history and background. We don't just have information showed at us, we discover it as we read. The writing was so detailed and amazing and I really felt like I was in the palaces and caves being described. I think that the vivid writing is one of the things that made this story so great.
   The plot took my breath away. It was so involved that to even talk about it would give so much away. The basic idea is that Kiora  is the Solus and it's her job to make sure that Dralazar doesn't come to power and that the people in her kingdom stay safe. However, she won't have to do this alone she will have loyal friends and of course a Protector, whose job is to make sure she stays safe. The protector is like the other half of the Solus but not is a soul mate kind of way. It's more that the Protector contains a quality lacked by the Solus. It's a really great idea.
    I loved Kiora and Emane. At first their relationship was so funny with them being so mean to each other, but I really got to fall in love with them as they started falling in love with each other. Also to be fair they took a while to fall in love so no ista-love here :)
   Anyway if you like fantasy then this book is a must read.

OMGOMGOMGOMG OH SWEET BABY JESUS THAT LOOKS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the cover is gorgeous I mean really look at Daemon, like just look at him... Did you look? If you didn't then go look. Anyway are you swooning? I know you are you can't look at him and just not swoon I mean look at him holding his Kitten they are so cute together. I don't know words can't describe how excited I mean to get into Katy's and Daemons world but this book release is so far away. Wahhhhhh!!!!! Where is my time machine?!?!? Review:  Okay so first things first, I LOVE the cover of this book. The girl looks so gorgeous being embraced by the guy. The cover is perfect for the book.
    As for the actual book it was a great read. Lexie is an amazing heroine who carries the guilt of her fathers death. When her mom gets married to a man from Romania Lexie doesn't even complain about leaving her closest friend and moving to Maine with her three weird brothers ( and I'm not being mean her brothers are just plain weird.) However, it turns out that the move was a good thing because Lexie meets the man of her dreams...literally. The bad part? Well, she always dies in those dreams, but Lexie isn't the kind of girl who gives up without a fight and she is definitely ready to fight to be with Torin.
    Lexie is an easy heroine to relate to. She tries to get along and not cause any problems and lets things slide that a normal person would throw a fit the size of Everest over. Now, that's not to say she's passive. I would say she is more of a heroine that knows to choose which battles to fight.
    I loved her relationship with Torin, the only thing though was that it was a bit fast moving. I mean don't get me wrong I totally love my mates, fate fixed partners, soul mates whatever you want to call it, but I love seeing a development to the relationship or at least see  the characters getting to know each other before sealing the deal. Anyway the way the relationship moved was a bit fast but I understand Lexie too I mean if I met a guy like Torin who then turns out to be my soul mate  I'm not sure I would play hard to get either.
   Speaking of Torin, I loved reading from his point of view. It's always interesting to see what a guy thinks and well getting inside Torin's head was pretty cool. You could feel how much he loved and needed Lexie and it was a very cute love.
   The plot was sort of predictable but then at the same time not. I knew what the deal with her step brothers was right away but when the revelation came of who exactly was responsible for the murders I was a little shocked even though its something that crossed my mind. This is definitely a book to check out if you like YA paranormal romance.

Review: First I would like to thank the awesome DeAnna Kinney for giving me the chance to read and review her book. Now on to the actual review. This book was both similar and different from the first. Just like in the first book we have the toe-curling romance, the edge of the seat suspense and some pretty funny nicknames... ( Fido you know what I'm talking about :) ) However, in Charity rising things are taken to the next level. The romance is a bit hotter, the suspense.... is well a bit more suspenseful, also the stakes are much higher in this book and some of the things revealed will literally make your jaw drop. 

    Levi and Charity are as cute as ever. Well, there was the whole issue with Levi acting crazy ,but that gets an amazing resolution and after that Levi and Charity are just the cutest couple. My one and only issue with this book was how Charity acted at times. I mean don't me wrong I love her but at times she was a bit childish and immature. I  love and respect the fact that the author chose to keep her behavior steady and didn't pull one of those changes where the reading thinks the character got a brain transplant.However, there were times when Charity could have been more serious. Besides that one little flaw Charity was an amazing character. She really stood up in this book and fought for what she thought was right and what she believed in. 

   Overall this is a great sequel that no devoted paranormal romance reader should let slip by without reading.

Review: Okay so I have to be honest, I kind of have an obsession with werewolves. Although I mean come on lets be honest here who wouldn't werewolves have the right amount of charm to them and they also have that alpha feel to it. That's why I didn't hesitate to pick up this book when I read the blurb. Going into this I expected a kick butt heroine and well a pretty hot and swoon worthy male lead. What I got was a lot more.

      Let's start with Charity. I think that she's that girl that every guy in school wants but is too scared to approach because one of two things will happen. Either a) the girl will destroy the guys ego so bad it will take him years to get over it or b) she will punch him in the face for even trying. Yeah if there was a contest for like Miss Universal Ice-Queen Charity practically has the crown in her hand. However, don't get me wrong there is a reason Charity is the way she is. Her situation at home is something that will cause any girl to behave this way. However, as soon as Levi comes along Charity changes. She opens up takes off the her layers and becomes a really sweet heroine that I totally loved.  She tries to see good in everyone though she definitely isn't a Little Miss Sunshine.

   Levi. Drake.  Boy oh Boy... well I guess I should say Werewolf oh Werewolf :)  Where do I start? In a way Levi is your typical Alpha. Protective, possessive, bossy, probably has a little book filled with smart-alecky comments. However, at the same time he is really sweet, and loyal and understanding(for the most part) and just really caring. I guess you could say he was a typical YA hero perfect in every way and there is nothing wrong with that. I mean really, who wants to read about an ugly guy who is a total nobody whose life is extremely boring and who has no idea how to talk to girls? Anyway if you like to read  about the perfect guy that gets your expectations wayyyy up then trust me Levi is your guy.

   The plot was actually pretty good. Sure there were some things that were pretty obvious like the fact that Levi was a werewolf I mean if the fact that he is extremely bossy didn't give it away, then all the growling should have.  Besides that there were certain elements in the story that were totally unpredictable. Like jump out of a jungle smack you in the face and run away kind of unpredictable. 

   Overall if  you like werewolves and a good romance go get this book.

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly even hosted by Breaking the Spine which showcases some of the upcoming releases we are eagerly awaiting.This week i'm sort of waiting for Snow White Sorrow.

What if all you knew about fairy tales was wrong?

Snow White has killed every person who has dared come near the castle where she once lived with the queen. Mysteriously, she lets Loki live.

So I'm going to be completely honest and say that going to read this books for two reasons.

   Reason # 1.

       This reminds me of Anna Dressed in Blood and The Immortal Instruments. For real looks at the blurbs.

This book: He looks like an Angel but acts like jerk...He is a Dreamhunter. One of the few in the world who can hunt and kill immortal demons.

          The Immortal Instruments: Okay so let's see...Jace was a total jerk(even though we    all  loved him let's face the truth he was a terribly, arrogant jerk.) Oh and Jace was a Shadowhunter who had the rare ability to hunt and   kill demons and guess what? Loki has the ability to hunt and kill Demons also, I mean what a shocker! 

Also I mean look at her tattoos remind you of anything?( Just look down if it doesn't.)

Reason #2.

  LOKI!!!!!! Tell me that when you read the main characters name you didn't think about this guy. I mean I have no idea what the guy looks like but every time I think about him I think of him as a younger version of Loki. ( well maybe a less evil version of Loki that isn't trying to take over the world and enslave human kind.)

      So yes I am reading this book because well I feel like it has elements from really good books either way I think this book is going to either be really good or really bad...hopefully it will be the former. Anyway tell me what you guys think.

Dante's Girl by Courtney Cole

Let’s start with the fact that Dante’s world is five light-years away from mine. He goes to black-tie functions and knows the Prime Minister of England on a first name basis. I was born and raised on a farm in Kansas and wear cut-off jeans paired with cowboy boots. See the difference? 

But hearts don’t care about differences. Hearts want what they want. And mine just wants to be Dante’s girl. My heart just might be crazy.

Review:  Okay so first I have to say I loved the cover I mean I totally loved it. The girl looks exactly like Reece an d the passport is such a cute touch. Also the quote is one of my favorite quotes by Reece so it's really adorable that they put it on the cover. Anyway on to the actual review.

     Alright bear with me I'm going to use the word "cute" a lot, but this was such a cute book.

        Reece is such a fun character and I mean this girl is just hilarious. I was dying of laughter half the time reading some of the things that go through her head. However, I think what I loved about her more is that she wouldn't lie to herself. She knew she wanted Dante and she wasn't going  to try and convince herself she wasn't interested, I though that was really awesome of her. However, she did have one minor flaw she tended to jump to quick conclusions. There was a point where I wanted to grab her and be all like " Girl just hear the poor guy out will ya? Let him finish before you decide if what he is trying to say is what you think he is saying." However, that characteristic was redeemed by the fact that she wouldn't walk around sullen and offended when she was wrong forgave pretty easily.

     Dante... I think I'm going to start traveling more often if I get to meet a guy like Dante. He was a total gentleman and really his only flaw was that he worked to hard to please everybody else. However, once he decided what he wants he is pretty amazing.

    The plot was cute even if it was bit a predictable. Anyway this is a light cute read that I think everyone should check out.
